Super Bowl Sunday Issue
Today is Super Bowl Sunday. My team, the Green Bay Packers, of course lost to the Giants. I do not feel bad for the Packers. They had a great year. But their defense was full of holes and their offense had an off day against the Giants. I enjoyed their win last year and just had a feeling this year that the best team this year would be like they were last year, a team that had to win at the end of the year and just kept getting better and better.
That is the way I see my life. I want to keep getting better and better. I am not interested in keeping the same. I want to do different things, experience different areas, travel, meet new people, especially new women.
Your life and what you make of it are the most important things in the world to you. The sooner you realize that the sooner your life will improve.
You can change to a better life in an instant. The instant you start to think better of your life, the better it starts to become.
The change starts internally and eventually manifests externally. That is how things work. That is how the law of attraction works. That is how manifesting works.
That is why I think some teams do well. They get on a roll and manifest that they are the team to beat. They think they are improving week to week. They think it is their destiny to win. We will see if the Giants can do that. I am picking the Giants.
But I am not going to spend the entire day wrapped up around the Super Bowl. I am going to spend the entire day wrapped up around my life. My life is the most important thing to me. Think of it this way, aren't the Giants and Patriots concentrating fully on their own life right now? Isn't concentrating on excelling at football how they got to the Super Bowl in the first place?
You want to make your life like that. You want to make your life be the best it can be. You need to shed the bad relationships you have. You need to move toward the type of career, job or business that would be right for you.
You can start to take stock of your marriage. I remember reading a statistic that there are more cases of domestic violence on Super Bowl Sunday than on any other day of the year. If that is true, it is truly one of the most horrible things in the world.
Instead of having a wife that you love, honor and cherish and would never hurt in a million years, you get upset at her because your team lost and you hit her. That is all wrong.
If that is your marriage, get out now. Leave today. Leave before the game. If you have ever hit your wife, it means you do not love her.
I left my wife, not because I hit her, but because she was verbally abusive over many years. I just could not stand it any longer. I am not a violent man, but I often thought that if she said the types of things that she said to me to a man who was a little more violent, she would come to great harm.
This is what I believe happens far too often. A man is pushed beyond his ability to cope.
I think instead of getting to that point just leave her. You do not love her that much. You probably do not even like her that much. She does not really love you either.
If you see yourself in any of this, you can learn how I dealt with it in my book -
How to Leave Your Wife
The book is my story of how I found the courage to leave my wife and get on with my life.
I do not want to dwell on this sad subject though. But to me there is nothing as as sad as a man who thought he would remain happily in love with a great woman, and then it all going down the toilet. Then instead of doing what you have to do, leave her, you stay for months or years or a lifetime with the wrong woman. You do not want to be that guy.
Enjoy your day, enjoy the Super Bowl, and especially get on with enjoying your life.
